Hiring a birth doula is the first step toward the birth you've been dreaming of. It's important that we're a strong team during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Let's hop on Zoom so you can get to know me, tell me all about who you are and what you're hoping for, ask me all your questions, and ultimately, see if we're a good fit for each other.

Staying connected is important. I'm there for you via text, email, or calls to address your questions & concerns, or to hear your latest appointment update...all the way to six weeks postpartum! My weekly emails break down hot pregnancy, birth, and postpartum topics into easily digestible pieces with FB & Instagram reels, podcasts, books, birth videos, research, and more!

Trust is a key ingredient in any good doula relationship, and this is where it starts. We'll meet in a relaxed atmosphere to get to know each other better and talk big picture about your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum specifics. Did you hire me quite close to your birth? No sweat. We'll start connecting at the first prenatal appointment instead.

Information, connection, and planning help to stack the deck for an amazing birth experience. I will come to your home two to four times during pregnancy to plan and practice for labor, delivery, and postpartum. We'll strategize and try out a variety of laboring techniques to bring your birth wishes to life.

When will labor start? That's anyone's guess! I go on-call for your birth at the 38 week mark. On-call means I will never be more than 2 hours away and if you think your labor has begun, you call me anytime, day or night. We'll work out together when and where (your home or place of birth) you'd like me to arrive.

The adjustment to parent hood is a BIG one, and I'll be there for you from birth through the first six weeks postpartum. Call, text, or email and I'll help you through the rough spots. As part of the package, I will do two to four postpartum visits with you if you'd like, by Zoom or in person (your choice!) so we can process the labor and delivery experience, troubleshoot, and celebrate.

A Coffee Chat, two in-home prenatal visits, labor & birth support, two in-home postpartum visits, with unlimited text, call, and email support and weekly information & resource emails.

Want a labor dress rehearsal? We'll be digging deep into breathing techniques, massage, visualization, focusing strategies, positions, acupressure, and more to fill your toolkit & fuel your confidence.

A Coffee Chat, two in-home prenatal visits, labor & birth support, two in-home postpartum visits, with unlimited text, call, and email support and weekly information & resource emails.

A whole-body assessment along with personalized exercises to start priming your body & baby's position for labor and delivery. The earlier we start, the better!

Having a hard time picking which additional appointment you'd like to add? You can choose both! We can add both a Primed for Birth visit AND a Coping Skills & Comfort Measures visit to your prenatal appointments with this package.

There are several ways that you may find your birth doula support is partially or fully paid for by your insurance. I am both DONA certified (birth doula training) and THW certified, which means that I'm qualified for you to use your commercial insurance, Carrot Fertility coverage, Cleo care finding, and OHP (not all doulas are!). Currently, OHP, PEBB, and OEBB pay my full fee, as does Carrot Fertility coverage.
Commercial insurance is currently figuring out their coverage and process for payment, as the law requiring them to pay went into effect 1/1/26. While each commercial insurance carrier and plan is different, and loopholes may exist (TBD), I STRONGLY recommend reaching out to your provider to see how much they will cover, if you will have to meet your deductible first, and how they will receive payment. For now, I will take private pay for commercial insurance and happily supply a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. As I am onboarded with specific insurance companies I will update on this page those that I can bill directly for you. I've already applied to two that are actively reaching out to doulas, but I'm on their timeline/in their process for approval and learning more about payment. So, it's a start, and hopefully more clarity and a streamlined process are in our future!
*United Healthcare has a specific doula form to submit for reimbursement after service and your HR person should be able to tell you the dollar amount that is covered in your specific plan.
